ORDER FULFILMENT
We aim to pack and ship all orders within 5 working days of purchase. We currently pack orders on a Tuesday evening and post on a Friday afternoon. Orders received after 4pm on a Tuesday will be processed the following week.
AGE RESTRICTIONS AND SAFETY
Our products contain small, sharp items which can be harmful if chewed or swallowed. They are gaming and display pieces, not toys and are unsuitable for children under the age of 14 years. By placing an order with Oakbound Studio you acknowledge that you understand the risks involved and take full responsibility for the use to which they are put.
ENVIRONMENTAL
Our miniatures are cast using recycled pewter. All casting is done in-house and our production is kept as local as possible.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Oakbound Studio is not VAT or IOSS registered. Orders sent to addresses outside the UK may be subject to local import duty and tax. Please check before ordering.
DPD may contact you by email for payment of duties owed before the package can be sent. This applies mostly to the US and Canada but may affect other regions. Emails will be sent from the Mark3 platform and may end up in your Spam folder. Please check this within 5 working days or your order may be returned to us.
If you have selected Economy shipping please note that this service does not include insurance and we are unable to refund or replace items lost in transit. We have no access to tracking on this service. For fully insured and tracked shipping please use the Tracked option provided.
RETURNS AND FAILED ORDERS
By UK law a buyer is entitled to return an item for an exchange or refund within 14 days of receiving the item if it is damaged or an incorrect item. Loss and damage in the post does, sadly, occur occasionally. If you have not received your item within the courier's estimated delivery time please contact us and we will investigate. If your package is returned to us by a courier we will contact you to let you know. We may need to charge you to post your parcel out again.

If you cancel before your package has been posted:
We will issue a full refund. If you have paid through PayPal this will be the full amount less PayPal's processing fees.
Damaged items:
Please send photographs explaining the damage. We will either ask for the return of the damaged items and issue a full refund or may be able to send you a replacement.
Unwanted items:
These must be returned in good, unopened condition. You will be responsible for arranging their return to us. We will give you a postal address when you contact us. Once we have received the items we will issue a refund for the value of the items only. We will not refund initial or return postage.

All text, artwork and miniature designs are the IP of Geoff Solomon-Sims. All names are entirely fictional or taken from original folklore and any similarity to actual persons in entirely unintentional.
USE AND STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA
All online purchases are handled through Woocommerce and Paypal. Our online accounts are securely password protected and never left logged in. We only use our Paypal account on private machines with up to date firewall and virus/malware protection. Our e-commerce facilities provide us with the name, email and postal address given by the customer in order that we can post purchases to them. This is done by email to a password-protected account. Once the purchase has been shipped the Paypal transaction emails are stored securely for the purposes of compiling and auditing our accounts. We are required to keep these emails for at least 5 years for UK tax records purposes. We will not share your details with any other company or individual, nor will we use these details to contact you except to issue a refund. In exceptional circumstances we may use Survey Monkey or another online survey company to compile a survey for the purposes of managing and fulfilling a Kickstarter. Any surveys created for this purpose will be deleted once all orders are fulfilled and no information obtained in this manner shall be shared with a third party. Information held by Kickstarter itself will only be retrieved if needed for the purposes of order fulfilment and any data obtained through this source will be erased once fulfilment is complete.
